Project Description

RW Sleighter performed the civil/site engineering for a new, 115,000 square foot county correctional facility to replace an existing outdated county prison. The project included Master Planning for an 8 lot 67 acre industrial park surrounding the new Justice and Rehabilitation Center.  The project included the design of over 4,500 feet of new roadway, 7,500 feet of sanitary sewer extension, storm sewer, and utility design, grading and drainage for the new development.  The project included Land Development, Erosion and Sediment Control, Stormwater Management and Highway Occupancy Permits.  Wetland delineation, traffic, geotechnical studies, and zoning approvals were also performed for the project.
