Project Description

The Private Industry Council of Fayette County (PIC) is a non-profit organization that operates employment, education and training programs in Southwestern PA. PIC was in need of a new multipurpose facility to house a variety of programs they manage in Fayette County including Head Start, Early Head Start, CareerLink, adult educations services and other programs that strengthen the economy by improving the quality of life in Southwestern Pennsylvania.  RW Sleighter designed a new 24,000 square foot two story steel frame building which provides efficient adaptable spaces for classrooms and administrative offices.  With a more efficient design the new building is smaller than their previous rental space but provides exceptional facilities while enabling cost savings in maintenance and operations.  RW Sleighter provided all Engineering and Architecture design services for the project.
